In a core-structure storing method, a storage container is carried into a nuclear-reactor containment, and then, the core structure is housed in the storage container. In the core-structure storing method, a bottom cover 53 is carried to a storage-container body 52 by using a moving device 61 which is movable. The storage-container body 52 and the bottom cover 53 are positioned by adjusting the position of the bottom cover 53 on the moving device 61 while the bottom cover 53 is supported by free bearings 612. The position-adjusted bottom cover 53 is attached to the storage-container body 52 in a state where the bottom cover 53 is positioned.
