A flocked tape (6) has a flock (10) and a base (11), in contact with the surface of the non-conjugated ethylene propylene-diene terpolymer (EPDM) profile (1). The base comprises an ethylene, chemically compatible with a polymer present in the EPDM profile. The EPDM profile and the flocked tape are bonded together by applying heat.
