A heat sink is provided to transfer easily a cooling medium to a heat receiving portion via wicks by connecting positively the wicks through comb tooth portions which are engaged to each other. A heat sink includes a flat heat pipe(11A) and a second heat pipe(11B) vertically connected to the first heat pipe. The first heat pipe has a first wick(12A) installed along an inner surface thereof, and the second heat pipe has a second wick(12B) installed along an inner surface thereof. Ends of the first and the second wicks have comb tooth portions(12A1,12B1) at the contacting portion of the first and the second heat pipes, so that the comb tooth portions are engaged to each other. The comb tooth portion of the second wick extends across the first heat pipe. |
