A television receiver system comprises a tuning circuit 31, a control circuit 32 and a monitor drive circuit 33 housed in a self-contained unit 30. Demodulated video and drive signals may be sent through a cable 34 to a separate display monitor 40. A power supply unit 35 may be housed in either the receiver unit 30 or monitor 40. The receiver unit may form part of the base of the monitor or may be a plug-in type unit mounted on the rear of the monitor. |
