1,071,892. Rail mounting. MANNESMANN LEICHTBAU G.m.b.H. March 8, 1965 [March 6, 1964], No. 9639/65. Addition to 1,000,693. Heading B7L. In the mounting of rails on the roofs of buildings for cradles which travel around the exterior of the buildings, a bearing plate 2, welded to the underside of the rail 1 is bolted to an inverted channel-section sleeper 3, the vertical flanges of which are welded to a base-plate 4. The base-plate rests on a soundabsorbing plate 5 made of lead asbestos which in turn rests on a pressure-distributing plate 10 which is resilient to bending and this rests on a layer 11 consisting of plastics mortar applied directly to the heat-insulating roof covering 12 of the building. An anchor bolt 7 provided with a washer 8 and a lead asbestos sound-absorbing underwasher 9 is surrounded by a resilient supporting sleeve 13 and is anchored in a rough concrete roof 15 by means of a threaded hollow plug 14. |
