摘要 An electro-optical device, a method for driving an electro-optical device, and an electronic apparatus are provided to control a grayness of the electro-optical device finely by maintaining a step width of a data signal level. An electro-optical device includes a unit circuit(P) and a signal generating circuit. The unit circuit includes first and second element units(U1,U2) for controlling first and second electro-optical devices(E1,E2) using a grayness based on data signal levels. The grayness of the first electro-optical device is lower than that of the second electro-optical device when the same level data signals are applied to the first and second element units. The signal generating circuit applies data signals, which control the first and second electro-optical devices using a corresponding grayness based on first and second ranges of the grayness where the second range has a higher grayness than the first range, to the first and second element units, respectively.
