A method of manufacturing a hollow metal body and a metal body manufactured using the method thereof are provided to produce a light and tightly adhered metal body having enhanced durability capable of sustaining external force by forming a first metal body having a recessed portion with stepped ends along an outer rims and by forming a second metal body having a projected portion having an end formed in step or trench shapes to fit into the end of the first metal, thereby allowing the two metal bodies to tightly adhere to one another. A method of manufacturing a hollow metal body comprises the steps of: molding a first metal member wherein a center section has a recessed portion towards one direction compared to bordering positions of inner and outer edges(ST102); forming a second metal member which is to be adhered along the circumference of the first metal member so as to allow the recessed portion of the first metal to form a hollow section(ST104); adhering first and second metal bodies by opposing the two metal bodies(ST106); and continuously plasma welding along the adhered section of the two metal bodies(ST108). First and second metal bodies are symmetrical with respect to interfaces of the two metal bodies. The interface of the first metal adhering to the second metal body is projected either towards inner width or outer width of the interface of the first metal body, and an end of the projected portion is shaped as a staircase. The interface of the second metal is projected outwards and an end is shaped as a step or a trench to allow tight adherence with the stepped portion of the first metal. At least one of the projecting portions of first and second metal bodies are fitted to the projecting section of the other for tight adherence.
