AIR PURIFICATION SYSTEM

An air purification system is provided to simultaneously remove harmful gas and particulate material in inflow air, and to prevent degradation of purification efficiency even when being used for long time by using dielectric barrier discharge of a plasma generation unit, a catalyst filter and a bio filter including a carrier attached with microorganism. An air purification system comprises a plasma generation unit(100), a catalyst filter(200) and a bio filter(300). The plasma generation unit allows harmful gas in inflow air to be oxidation-decomposed and converted to a hydrophilic property by generating dielectric barrier discharge, and allows particulate material to be collected and removed, and to be charged by ions. The catalyst filter makes the harmful gas incompletely oxidized in air passed through the plasma generation unit to be decomposed and converted to the hydrophilic property. The bio filter includes a carrier(310) attached with microorganism, and removes hydrophilic harmful gas in air passed through the catalyst filter and the particulate material charged by ions.
