APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR AUTO-RECOGNIZING TPMS TIRES

A device and a method for recognizing a TPMS(tire pressure monitoring system) of a tire automatically is provided to simplify installation structure by installing two TPMS operators installed at a diagonal direction of a vehicle and sensing TPMS sensors installed at each of tires respectively. A method for recognizing a TPMS of a tire automatically comprises the steps: recognizing an unique ID discharged from a TPMS sensor of a front tire by generating a wakeup signal by driving a front TPMS operator with small amount of output(S10); recognizing an unique ID discharged from the TPMS sensor of a rear tire by generating the wakeup signal by driving a rear TPMS operator with small amount of output(S20); recognizing an unique ID discharged from the TPMS sensor of the front tire by generating the wakeup signal by driving the front TPMS operator with great amount of output(S30); and recognizing an unique ID discharged from the TPMS sensor of the rear tire by generating the wakeup signal by driving the rear TPMS operator with great amount of output(S40).
