摘要 A liquid crystal display device having a high-intensity impulse supplementary part and a driving method of the same are provided to improve an impulse effect and to shorten a response speed by forming a high-intensity impulse driving unit. A liquid crystal panel(102) includes a TFT(Thin Film Transistor) which is formed at an intersection between a data line and a gate line. A date driving unit(104) supplies data to the data line of the liquid crystal panel. A gate driving unit(106) supplies the data to the gate line of the liquid crystal panel. A timing controller(108) is formed to control the data driving unit and the gate driving unit and to drive a plurality of lamps. A lamp driving unit(112) drives sequentially the lamps according to a control signal of the timing controller. A high-intensity impulse driving unit(114) is operated according to an operation of the lamp driving unit. A backlight unit(110) irradiates the light to the liquid crystal panel.
