An apparatus for driving a heating wire for shielding electromagnetic fields is provided to prevent an accident by shortly cutting off power in case of abnormal power supply. An apparatus for driving a heating wire for shielding electromagnetic fields includes a heater(C), a safety circuit(A), a voltage inspection circuit(B), a constant voltage circuit(E), an output circuit(K), a temperature setting circuit(G), and a controller(F). The heater(C) generates heat with power having a heater line which is made of a pure iron. The safety circuit(A) automatically cuts off power supply in case of overvoltage on a normal power. The voltage inspection circuit(B) detects electric or magnetic field on the heater(C). The constant voltage circuit(E) provides each part with DC power by rectifying and smoothing the normal power. The output circuit(K) supplies the heater(C) with the normal power. The temperature setting circuit(G) sets heating temperature of the heater(C). The controller(F) detects condition of the heater(C), applies a control signal to the output circuit(K) according to a temperature set in the temperature setting circuit(G), and cuts off the power of the heater(C) if an error occurs in the heater(C).
