A system and a method for managing position information of an electronic bracelet attaching an RFID sensor or node are provided to offer service for managing the location information of a user wearing the bracelet and promptly reporting escape from a concerned area to a concerned institution by using the RFID sensor embedded with a GPS(Global Positioning System) reception chip or a ZigBee sensor node. An RFID sensor node(10) is attached to a predetermined position of the electronic bracelet, and transmits ID and GPS position information of the user wearing the electronic bracelet. The RFID reader(20) reads and decodes the received ID/GPS position information, and transmits the decoded information to the network. An electronic bracelet position information management server(100) receives the ID/GPS position information of the user wearing the electronic bracelet, and displays the position information of the user on a map. If the position information of the user escapes from the concerned area, the server generates an alarm, and automatically transmits an SMS(Short Message Service) message to a concerned institution phone(72) or a mobile terminal(71) of the manager. |
