<p>A rubber composition obtained by blending 100 parts by weight of at least one rubber selected from among natural rubber and synthetic rubbers with 20 to 100 parts by weight of one member (component 1) selected from the group consisting of (1) carbon black, (2) silica, and (3) mixtures of carbon black with silica and 0.5 to less than 20 parts by weight of a modified calcium carbonate (component 2) having a silica layer and a silane coupling agent layer; and a rubber composition obtained by blending 100 parts by weight of at least one rubber selected from among natural rubber and synthetic rubbers with 20 to 100 parts by weight of one member (component 1) selected from the group consisting of (1) carbon black, (2) silica, and (3) mixtures of carbon black with silica and 0.5 to less than 20 parts by weight of a modified calcium carbonate (component 2) having (i) a silica layer, (ii) an organic acid layer formed by treatment with at least one member selected from the group consisting of fatty acids, fatty acid salts, fatty acid esters, resin acids, resin acid salts, and resin acid esters, and (iii) a silane coupling agent layer.</p> |
