There is described a floor covering panel. The coupling parts are provided with integrated mechanical locking elements which in coupled condition of two of such panels prevent the drifting apart of two coupled floor panels into a direction perpendicular to the related edges and parallel to the underside of the coupled floor panels. The coupling parts and integrated mechanical locking elements are formed in one piece with the floor panel. The coupling parts and locking elements have a shape such that two subsequent floor panels can be engaged laterally and coupled to each other in two manners, respectively, on the one hand, by means of turning one panel in respect to the other, and on the othe r hand, by means of snapping them together whilst shifting them towards each other. |
