WORKPIECE CARRIER APPARATUS FOR TRANSFER PRESS MACHINE

There is provided a workpiece carrier apparatus for transfer press machine in which carrier motion for each press station can be individually set. A guide beam can be raised and lowered by a lifting device, so that all levels can be adjusted t o match the dies. A guide rail is attached to the guide beam, and carriers are fitted so as to be movable in the feed direction of a press line along the guide rail. A most upstream side carrier on the press line is moved in the feed direction by a first carrier mechanism, and the remaining carriers are connected together by correcting rods so as to be movable in the feed direction as one unit by a second carrier mechanism. Each of the carriers have a servo motor, and the amount of raising and lowering of the cross bars can be individually set.
