A vehicle stability control system and a control method thereof are provided to ensure the stability of a vehicle by rapid determination of a control amount of a vehicle control device according to a cornering force of front wheels and rear wheels upon corer driving. A vehicle stability control system includes a sensor portion(10) for sensing an information about movement of a vehicle, and a control portion(20) for determining a control amount to be reflected in a vehicle control device(30), according to a cornering force of front-wheels and rear-wheels, which is calculated from an information about movement of a vehicle sensed by the sensor portion. The sensor portion includes a vehicle speed sensor(11), a steering angle sensor(12), a yaw rate sensor(13) and a lateral acceleration sensor(14), and the vehicle control device includes at least one of a braking device(31), a steering device(32) and a suspension device(33).
