A hinge unit is provided to simplify the structure of a ball plunger to selectively fix a folder part and to reduce the number of workers. A hinge unit comprises a hinge shaft(410), a rotary shaft(420), a cam follower member(430), a shaft housing(440), an elastic member(450), and a ball plunger(470). The hinge shaft(410) is coupled to a main body(200) so as to have an axial line along the horizontal direction of the main body(200). The rotary shaft(420) is coupled to a folder part(300) so as to have an axial line orthogonal to the hinge shaft(410). The cam follower member(430) is combined so as to make a rectilinear motion along the hinge shaft(410). The shaft housing(440), formed with a driving cam member(442), which makes a reciprocal action with the cam follower member(430), in a single unit, is rotatively combined with the hinge shaft(410) in the center. Also the shaft housing(440) rotatively accepts the rotary shaft(420). The elastic member(450) provides elastic force so that the cam follower member(430) can move toward the driving cam member(442). The ball plunger(470) consists of a ball(472), a spring(474), a ball plate(473), and a support plate(476).
