摘要 An optical compensation film, a polarizing plate and a liquid crystal display device are provided to suppress deterioration of display quality such as light leakage by improving a composition thereof. An optical compensation film has the following relationship Re(40)/Re is 0.95 to 1.06 where Re is an internal retardation of 20 to 400nm and Re(40) is a retardation measured at slope of 40 degrees from a normal direction by using a terrestrial axis as an inclined axis. In the optical compensation film, an absolute valve of an optical elastic coefficient is 30x10^-12m^2/N and less. The internal retardation is 20 to 150nm. The optical compensation film includes a first optical anisotropic layer and a second optical anisotropic layer. The first optical anisotropic layer has the inner retardation of 0 to 10nm and a thickness direction retardation of -400 to -80nm. The second optical anisotropic layer has the inner retardation of 20 to 150nm and the thickness direction retardation of 100 to 300nm.
