METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR JOINING DIFFERENT KINDS OF ADHESIVE TAPES AND BONDING USING THE SAME

A method for attaching different kinds of adhesive tapes, a bonding method using the same and an apparatus thereof are provided to attach simultaneously a first and second adhesive tapes of different attaching positions by transferring a glass substrate of a second absorbing table from a first absorbing table in an offsetting state. A first glass substrate is transferred to a first absorbing table(17a) of a first movable table(17A) by using a first transfer unit(6). The first movable table is moved to an attaching position of a first adhesive tape(18a). The first adhesive tape is attached to the first glass substrate in a first head(19a). The first glass substrate having the first adhesive tape is transferred from the first absorbing table to a second absorbing table(17b). A second glass substrate is transferred from the first transfer unit to the first absorbing table. The first movable table is moved to position the first and second glass substrates in the first and second adhesive tapes(18a,18b). A simultaneously attaching process is performed to attach the first and second adhesive tapes in the first and second heads(19a,19b). The first and second glass substrates are transferred from the second absorbing table to a second transfer unit(21).
