A method for compressing data using a filter is provided to minimize delay time. The first multiplier(110) multiplies an input value according to a given clock by the first input value. The second multiplier(120) multiplies the input value according to the given clock by the second input value. The third multiplier(130) multiplies the input value by the third input value. The first adder(140) adds the output of the first multiplier to the output value of the first switch part. The second adder(150) adds the output of the second multiplier to the output value of the second switch. The first storage module(180) stores the output value of the first adder or the third adder. The second storage module(190) stores the output value of the second adder. The first switch part(160) selects one of output values of the first storage module and the second storage module to output the selected output value to the first adder. The second switch part(170) selects one of output values of the first storage module and the second storage module to output the selected output value to the second adder.
