An upper plate of a synthetic marble furniture and preparation method for the same are provided to create a natural marble-like appearance and a texture of classic beauty equally on both(front and/or rear sides) and edges. A preparation method of an upper plate of a synthetic marble furniture includes the steps of: making blocks at regular intervals from the edge of a panel to create a space of a desired space; filling the space next to the edge of the panel with a mixture of 1000wt.% of an unsaturated polyester resin, 0.03-700wt.% of pearl, and 0.05-50wt.% of wax up to the height of the panel and curing; filling the space on a top face of the panel with the mixture of 1000wt.% of an unsaturated polyester resin, 0.03-700wt.% of pearl, and 0.05-50wt.% and curing; and removing the blocks and finishing.
