A digital image processing method including GPS information is provided to permit guide of a vehicle to a corresponding region by associating the method with a navigation system of the vehicle. In a digital image processing method, the GPS information produced by a GPS information receiving unit is converted to a protocol for combination with a digital image. A digital image photographed at a position corresponding to the GPS information is combined to the converted GPS information to be transferred. The GPS information is extracted by recognizing whether the GPS information is encoded in the property of the corresponding digital image file. Mapping is further performed on the basis of the map information stored in advance with respect to the extracted GPS information.
