A method for communicating an expansion module is provided to execute a rapid operation by distinguishing from start and end parts of a frame using a timer. A communication device of an expansion module, which has a master(100) and plural slaves(200) having identification information allocated by the master, includes a transmit line(110), a receive line(120), and a reset line(130). The transmit line, which connects the master and the respective plural slaves, is used for transmitting clocks from the master to respective plural slaves. The receive line, which connects the master and the respective plural slaves, is used for receiving clocks from the respective plural slaves to the master. The reset line connects the master and a slave adjacent to the master or between the slaves.
