The space (4) in the frame section (1) used to form the ventilation passage (5) is L-shaped and once the pane (3) is in position, this space directly adjoins a first side (6) of the pane and the end side of the pane. The space extends in a direction transverse to the pane. The frame section contains at least one space extending in its length direction which forms a ventilation passage between the first side of the pane and the second side (7). A support part (2) is provided for the pane. An independent claim is also included for a support for a window frame pane, the support having an L-shaped cross-section allowing it to be positioned inside the L-shaped space in the above frame section.
