A combination system and a method of printing data recorded or played back by the combination system such as a DVDP and VCR combo or a HDD and DVDP combo are provided to integrate a photo printer as a single unit with the combination system, thereby allowing the combination system to not only project images but also print out the images projected by the combination system. A combination system comprises a data recording and playing back device for recording or playing back the data, and a printing device for printing the data recorded or played back. The data includes image signals from a public network broadcast, input from an external device, or playing back a recorded medium. The data recording and playing back device is any one of the following combination audio video system: a DVDP, a DVD recorder, a BD player, or a BD recorder. The printing device is a photo printer capable of printing the recorded image or image being played back by the combination system. An image outputting device projects the recorded data or the data played back by the combination system. A method of printing the data recorded or being played back by the combination system comprises the steps of: inputting the command for printing the data by a user(S600); processing image signals inputting from any one of the data sources including the network broadcast, the external device, or the recorded medium(S602,S606,S610); and printing the processed image signal(S614).
