A one-piece fastener 10 of a deformable mouldable material consists of a head 14, a shank 12 and a wing 22 which projects towards the head from the end of the shank remote from the head, or from near one end, and which at its free end either has an outer surface which converges towards the shank in the direction towards the head Fig. 7, or flexes into such a position, Figs 1 and 2 when the shank of the fastener is forced through an aperture 30 in a panel 34.
