RETROFLECTIVE GLASS BEAD AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A retro-reflective glass bead and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to be applied in a wide range by not deteriorating a retro-reflective function even in rainy weather or in a foggy or moist place. A method for manufacturing a retro-reflective glass bead includes the steps of: forming a resin layer(12) on a polyester polymer film(10); uniformly coating glass beads(20) mechanically through a press roller and a support roller located at the upper and lower parts of the polyester polymer film(10) and placing only a half diameter of the glass bead(20) in the coated resin layers(12,14,16) at the same time; depositing an aluminum vacuum deposition film(40) on the glass beads(20); and separating the glass bead(20) on which the aluminum vacuum deposition film(40) is half deposited from the polyester polymer film(10) through a glass bead separating roller(60) located at the upper part of the polymer film(10).
