METHOD TO CONTROL STARTING GAS TURBINE ENGINE ADOPTING CURRENT VALUE OF STARTING MOTOR

A method for controlling a start of a gas turbine engine employing a current value of a start motor is provided to prevent generation of a disorder cause of the gas turbine engine. A method for controlling a start of a gas turbine engine includes the steps of: increasing the rotational sped of the gas turbine engine to a first speed by accelerating a start motor(S61); detecting a falling time point by continuously increasing the amount of injected fuel to a combustor; and increasing the rotational speed of the gas turbine engine to a reference start speed while performing a constant acceleration control, considering the falling time point as an ignition time point to the combustor.
