FIELD: manufacture of building materials; mixes for production of ceramic brick. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed ceramic mix is prepared by addition of calcium-containing slag after white iron melting process at content of Fe2O3 and MgO of 0.61 and 5.26 mass-% respectively, as well as CaO and Al2O3 of 40.1 and 14.5 mass-% respectively into known ceramic mix containing clay part of "tailings" of gravitation of zircon-ilmenite ores at the following ratio of components, mass-%: clay part of "tailings" of zircon-ilmenite ore gravitation, 50-80; slag, 20-50. ^ EFFECT: reduction of shrinkage and water absorption of ceramic mix. ^ 3 tbl |
