FIELD: measuring technique. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises exciting the pulses of shearing ultrasonic vibration in the specimen to be investigated, orienting the plane of polarization of vibration along the wires of the rope, receiving the ultrasonic pulses passed through the specimen, cooling the specimen, measuring the amplitude of the received pulses for several values of temperature, determining the limit temperature at which the signal reaches a maximum, and determining quality of the impregnating liquid with the use of reference specimens. ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability. ^ 1 dwg |
