APPARATUS FOR DRIVING SUCTION PILE

An apparatus for driving a suction pile is provided to restrict the suction pile from tilting and to reduce working hours by adjusting the penetration speed of the suction pile accurately with a hydraulic brake. A suction pile driving apparatus includes a barge(10) moving a suction pile(40), and a suction pile driving unit inserting the suction pile to a seabed. The suction pile driving unit has a frame(20) installed in the barge to move the suction pile into the seabed with a winch, the suction pile connected to the winch by a wire and driven into the seabed, a pump(50) discharging seawater from the suction pile, a balancer(60) placed between the winch and the suction pile to level the suction pile driven into the seabed, and a control member formed in the winch to regulate penetration speed of the suction pile finely. The control member consists of a hydraulic brake(70).
