A microorganism mutant is provided to increase the activity of biotic carboxylase, thereby increasing production concentration and yield of 5'-inosinic acid. A method for producing 5'-inosinic acid using the same is provided. A Corynebacterium ammoniagenes mutant producing 5'-inosinic acid is characterized in that an endogenous promoter of biotin carboxylase gene is substituted by a CJ1 promoter consisting of a sequence described as SEQ ID : NO. 1. The Corynebacterium ammoniagenes is Corynebacterium ammoniagenes CJKTS93 deposited as a deposition number of KCCM 10779. To produce 5'-inosinic acid, the Corynebacterium ammoniagenes mutant is cultured.
