The hammam (1) has an enclosure (10) including a base part (PB) that is extended towards top by a top part (PH). The top part includes peripheral walls (20) and a ceiling (21) that partially closes the top part. The base part has a heating floor (2) for producing water vapor by evaporating water which is in contact with the floor. The floor includes an insulating lower layer (3), and an upper layer (5) that is positioned over a sand intermediate layer (4), where the lower layer is made of polystyrene and the upper layer is made of a synthetic resin sheet.
