<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-cell module, and a fuel cell stack containing the multi-cell module, capable of solving a problem of unevenness of surface pressure between a center part and an outside part of the cell, in a cell lamination body laminating a plurality of the cells and imparted with a fastening load. <P>SOLUTION: (1) The multi-cell module 3 includes a cell lamination body 1 containing a plurality of laminated cells. first pinching members 4 pinching an outside part of the cell lamination body in a cell lamination direction, and second pinching members 5 pinching an inside part of the cell lamination body in a cell lamination direction and capable of moving toward the cell lamination direction against the first pinching members. (2) The first pinching members 4 are of a rigid body and are coupled with each other through a coupling side plate 6, and the second pinching members 5 are of a rigid body. (3) A plurality of pinching members 4, 5 are provided in an inward direction of the cells, and pinch the cell lamination body 1 in a lamination direction at intervals different from each other.
