<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicator and a process controller allowing an arbitrary change of a graduation scale by desire of a user. <P>SOLUTION: This indicator has: an operation means for inputting an upper limit value and a lower limit value of graduations; an image data generation means generating graduation image data on the basis of the upper limit value and the lower limit value of the graduations; and a display means displaying a graduation image on the basis of the graduation image data.
