<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a microbe carrier of a compressed state, which is excellent in handleability when transported or stored and workability when thrown in a septic tank and achieves an excellent result when used for treating sewage. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the microbe carrier of the compressed state comprises: an infiltration step P1 of infiltrating a water-soluble binder into the microbe carrier; a first drying step P2 of drying the water-soluble binder in the surface part of the binder-infiltrated microbe carrier to obtain the microbe carrier 13 of a semidry state; a compression step P3 of compressing the microbe carrier 13 of the semidry state; and a second drying step P4 of drying the water-soluble binder in the microbe carrier of the compressed state and solidifying the dried microbe carrier in the compressed state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
