<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image generation system, a program, and an information storage medium for properly achieving image expressions corresponding to speediness while saving the consumption of a memory. <P>SOLUTION: A blur texture is generated by operating blur processing to a texture to be mapped on an object based on blur information. It is necessary to search to which direction and how much quantity the texture should be moved in order to operate the blur processing to the texture to be mapped on the object. Therefore, as the flow of processing for generating a blur texture, the deviation quantity and the deviation direction of the texture to be mapped on the object are set as blur information, and a blur texture is generated by operating the blur processing based on the set blur information.
