<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a print format restricting information based on a print purpose selected by user or group and to instruct execution of a printing processing to a printing apparatus in a range of the print format restricting information. <P>SOLUTION: The user or the group to request printing is identified. The print purpose to permit the selection is set for each user or each group user identified by a printer driver 1002. When the user selects the print purpose among a plurality of print purposes, the print format restricting information corresponding to the selected print purpose is acquired.
