<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information setting system that can set information necessary for an electronic apparatus without troubling a television apparatus purchaser. <P>SOLUTION: An order number fixed at the purchase of a television apparatus TV, along with information representing the location where the television apparatus TV will be set, is sent to a server apparatus SV. The server apparatus SV generates region information such as channel information from the information, and sends it to the television apparatus TV installed in the installation location.
