PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crushing and drying system for an aqueous material capable of efficiently executing treatment by a compact device. SOLUTION: The crushing and drying system for the aqueous material is provided with a crushing and drying machine 1 for which a rotary shaft 101 is vertically provided near the bottom part center inside a chamber 100 with an internal space, a turning element 103 comprising a blade, a chain or both of them is attached to the rotary shaft 101, and the tip end of the turning element 103 is controlled so as to be horizontally rotated at the speed of≥100m/sec and≤250m/sec. The aqueous material is fed from the upper part of the crushing and drying machine 1 into the chamber 100, the aqueous material is pulverized/dried to separate and generate dry powder and water particles, the water particles are led to a cleaning column 3 composed of at least one of a filling layer, a shelf stage and a wet wall to clean and remove the water particles, and the dry powder is introduced to a cyclone 2 to be separated and removed.
