PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator for faucet in which generation efficiency is enhanced by limiting useless flow not imparting a torque to a rotator, and to provide an automatic faucet with generator. SOLUTION: The generator for faucet comprises a moving blade having a plurality of blades projecting radially outward and provided in a tubular body rotatably about the central axis of the tubular body, a moving blade ring provided at the blade to surround the circumferential surface of the moving blade and partitioning the space between blades adjoining in the circumferential direction and the space between the blade and the inner circumferential surface of the tubular body, a magnet provided in the tubular body in the upstream or downstream of the moving blade while aligning the center of axis with the axis of rotation of the moving blade and rotatable about the central axis of the tubular body integrally with the moving blade, and a first coil provided oppositely to the magnet while holding the wall of the tubular body between on the outside thereof.
