PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven blower in which sealing is surely performed by abutting the top surface of the air guide of a diffuser sealed with a resin ring-like flat plate on a fan cover. SOLUTION: A projecting part 44 is formed on the ring-like flat plate 43 formed of a resin material for sealing the top surface of the air guide of the diffuser 4 at the portion abutting on the fan cover. A recessed part 61 is formed in a fan cover 6 facing the projecting part. A resin, rubber, or paper seal material is used for the recessed part 61 of the fan cover 6 to efficiently seal between the ring-like flat plate 43 of the diffuser 4 and the fan cover 6. Since the sealing is assured and the air flow sucked by a fan 3 reduces the leaked air flow returned to the suction port 5 side, the sucking efficiency of the motor-driven blower can be increased.
