PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a polyvinyl acetal composition with a low cost wherein the polyvinyl acetal composition is excellent in dispersibility of fine powder and further is excellent in tensile strength and in transparency when the composition is filmed, and can form the coating. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the polyvinyl acetal composition is characterized by adding the fine powder (B) of which the particle size of the dispersed particle is 1,000 nm or less into an aqueous solution of the polyvinyl alcohol (A) with a concentration of 1-20 wt.% in a ratio of 0.5/100-50/100 of (A) and (B) based on the weight ratio [(B)/(A)] under the presence of an acid catalyst and a 2-6C aldehyde and then subjecting them to acetalization reaction.
