Disclosed are: an agent for inhibiting the accumulation of a fat in an adipocyte, which comprises a milk-derived phospholipid as an active ingredient; a beverage/food for inhibiting the accumulation of a fat in an adipocyte, which contains a milk-derived phospholipid; an agent and a beverage/food for inhibiting the accumulation of a visceral fat, each of which comprises a phospholipid having sphingosine or a derivative thereof as an active ingredient; and an agent and a beverage/food for promoting the increase in blood adiponectin level and/or inhibiting the decrease in blood adiponectin level, each of which comprises a phospholipid having sphingosine or a derivative thereof as an active ingredient.
