An electrical generator includes a passageway (24) having an input port (44) and at least one output port (22) and at least one resonator (34) for converting acoustic vibrations established in the passageway (24) into mechanical vibrations of the resonator (34). The resonator (34) is oriented adjacent at least one output port (22). A mechanical-to-electrical transducer (20) is coupled to the resonator (34) for generating electricity in response to the mechanical vibrations.
