Disclosed is a porphyrazine dye represented by the formula (1) below which i s suitable for inkjet recording. The porphyrazine dye has good hue as a cyan ink, while being excellent in light resistance, ozone resistance and moistur e resistance. In addition, the porphyrazine dye does not cause bronzing. (1) [ In the formula, A, B, C and D independently represent a six-membered aromatic ring, with at least one of them being a benzene ring and at least one of the m being a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic aromatic ring; E represents an alkylene; X and Y independently represent a substituted or unsubstituted anilino group or a substituted or unsubstituted naphthylamino group; and b represents a number from 0 to 2.9, c represents a number from 0.1 to 3 with the sum of b and c being from 1 to 3.]
