A liquid energy supplement complex composition containing propylene glycol for animals is provided to improve favor of propylene glycol by removing its peculiar smell and sour taste, thereby replenishing the energy of an animal in need thereof by feeding the fodder or drink containing the composition. A liquid energy supplement complex composition for animals contains 45-85 wt.% of propylene glycol represented by the formula, 0.05-1.0 wt.% of garlic extract, 5-12 wt.% of sorbitol, 0.05-0.1 wt.% of sodium benzoic acid and 9.9-41.9 wt.% of purified water. A method for preparing the liquid energy supplement complex composition for animals comprises the steps of: adding sodium benzoic acid into purified water to prepare solution A; heating propylene glycol and sorbitol in an agitator at 60 deg.C for 20 minutes and cooling it to prepare solution B; adding garlic extract into purified water, adding sorbitol into the mixture, and mixing them at room temperature to prepare solution C; and mixing the solution B with the solution C, heating the mixture at 60 deg.C, adding the solution A into the mixture, and mixing them for 5 minutes.
