A method for guiding a path in a navigation system is provided to plan a convenience for a driver or a passenger by additionally providing a guide in a platform and a ferry. A method for guiding a path in a navigation system includes the steps of: displaying a searched path on a screen and determining passage through a ferry(S105); displaying on a screen that the ferry has not been passed through and performing a screen guide and a voice guide(S107,S109); displaying on the screen that the ferry has been passed through and guiding the passage of the ferry by using a voice(S115); guiding that the ferry platform has been arrived at by using a voice(S119); and completing the screen guide and the voice guide when a user boards on the ferry(S123).
