<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming device which finds accurate development sensitivity curves to respective different developing methods and adequately controls image-forming conditions. <P>SOLUTION: The image-forming device includes a developing device 1 which forms a toner image on a latent-image carrier 2 by means of a developer selected from a plurality of developers for different developing methods and a concentration-detecting means 7 which measures the concentration of the toner image. The concentration-detecting means 7 includes; a light-emitting element 12 which irradiates the toner image I, which is formed on the latent-image carrier 2 or an intermediate transfer body 5, with light; a light-receiving element 13 which receives the reflection light and photoelectrically converts the reflection light; and a light-emission output controlling means 14 which changes the input voltage of the light-emitting element 12 in accordance with the developing method of the toner image to change light-emission output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
