SOLUTION: In a converting method for image data that takes current image data out of a memory space where image data columns of all (h) rows are stored by an interlacing system having an interlacing interval (i) where (h) and (i) are positive integers and i<h, and rearranges them into image data of the interlacing system in all (h) rows in the same memory space, a function f(y) of setting a row number of current image data of interest as a current row number (y) and acquiring a target row number of target image data after the rearrangement is expressed by a mathematical expression 1 (where 0≤y≤h-1) and a row number link list is generated.
